If you live in Point Breeze, you have probably noticed that the large warehouse building at the corner of 20th and Wharton has finally come down. The building has remained vacant for many years & was a blight in a neighborhood that has been rapidly developing around it.
If you attend the ZBA meetings, you will also know that this project has been the topic of much debate since the original plans were presented, but it's finally official! Plans have been approved to build 22 Townhomes, each with their own roof deck AND parking! Construction is scheduled to begin in September of 2015. To get a preview of what you can expect, here are some renderings from architects JKR Partners.
