A Philly Pizza Institution Gutted By Fire

At 10:25 AM today, a  fire broke out at Lorenzo's Pizza at 3rd and South Streets.  The pizzeria famous for its huge slices was gutted.   The one alarm fire was quickly brought under control with one fireman injured.  The large mural of Lorenzo in front of the building had to be cut to allow smoke to vent out.  Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the blaze.  Sources state that Lorenzo's will rebuild and reopen.
