Its springtime in the City. The days are longer and the market is booming. Right now the inventory is low especially in hot sections like Fishtown, Passyunk, and Graduate Hospital. With inventory low when homes priced to sell hit the market they move fast. A lot homes are barely lasting 30 days.
What this means for buyers is that if you're on the market, and you see something you like you need to move on it. If you decide to sleep on it, when you wake up the next morning it maybe too late and the house could be gone. So as a buyer in the City when you're ready to buy you need to really be ready to buy. Its not just about having the preapproval from your lender, and finding the right agent. It's going out into the market with the mindset that the next home you see could be the one for you, and you’re ready to make an offer today if you have to. The market is agressive right now and buyers need to be aggressive as well.
