Despite the nice spring weather lately, it looks like Philly is taking a step back into winter this weekend. Forecasters predict a cold Saturday and one to three inches of snow on Sunday. So, I’ve rounded up a list of the best bars in Philly to watch March Madness and keep you out of the cold!
Below, you’ll find a list of Philly sports bars that will be showing the games all weekend, in addition to some of the specials they will be offering.
1) Buffalo Billiards
Location: Old City -- 118 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
With an upstairs and downstairs bar available, you’ll have plenty of room to watch the games and fit in a round of pool. They have 12 beers on draft and 15 different bottles of beer, which are primarily American/local crafts.
2) Chickie’s and Pete’s
Location: South Philadelphia -- 1526 Packer Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19145
There’s no need to bring your eye glasses to this place, where you can watch the game on a 14-foot television! Plus, you can’t go wrong with the famous Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab Fries.
Specials: Saturday March 19th and Sunday March 20th – All you can eat special (includes Domestic draft beers)
3) Founding Fathers Sports Bar & Grill

Not only does this bar offer over 20 different beers on tap but the grill also serves up some delicious pub food for you to enjoy.
